This is NOT a captive bear. This photograph was captured in a wildlife sanctuary. The bears roam free without cages or fences. I was given a photographers pass and training to be allowed to enter and roam the sanctuary with the bears. Although this bear is brown in color, it is a black bear. Their color will vary and they call this a cinnamon color black bear. Bears symbolize benevolence, bravery and peace. Symmetry is another manifestation of the balance of Yin and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i. |
