One of my first designs from one of my favorite photographs. This Oak leaf was laying perfectly flat under 3 inches of water. This tiny stream is located on a beach in Saugatuck, Michigan that fed into Lake Michigan. I am proud of this photograph because it has the element of light and motion. You can see the sunlight dancing on the water and a slight ripple of the water. The center of this kaleidoscope is created from the sunlight dancing on the rippling water. My designs start with one of my photographs. I am compelled to immortalize and transform Mother Nature’s awesome creations into images of mesmerizing symmetry through kaleidoscope photo art. |
